Privacy Policy

Datacook (the “Company”) establishes the following policy for appropriate handling of personal information.

1. Information we collect

We collect the company name, name, email address, and enquiry details submitted through Google Forms. Technical information such as IP address, browser information, and access time may also be processed by infrastructure providers we use for stable operation and security.

2. Purposes of use

• Responding to enquiries
• Analyzing and improving our services
• Necessary communications
• Preventing misuse, handling incidents, and operating the service securely

3. Use of service providers

We use service providers for the purposes below. They may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

• Cloudflare: site delivery and security
• Google Forms and Google Sheets: collecting, storing, and notifying us about enquiries
• Google Analytics 4: understanding site usage and improving services

Except where required by law, we do not sell personal information or provide it to third parties for advertising without consent.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4. The current implementation initializes analytics and advertising storage as denied and does not provide a mechanism to change it to an allowed state. Google handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.

5. Features using public data

Features such as address normalization, geocoding, and corporate-information matching may use public data from the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan, the Digital Agency Address Base Registry, and the National Tax Agency Corporate Number publication site. This data is handled separately from enquiry-form information. Sources, licenses, processing, and notices are described in Data Sources & Licenses.

6. Disclosure to third parties

Except where required by law, we do not disclose personal information to third parties without consent. We may entrust handling to properly managed providers where necessary for the purposes above.

7. Security management

We take reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access, leaks, and similar incidents.

8. Retention

Enquiry responses are stored in Google Forms and connected Google Sheets for as long as needed to respond, then deleted. Retention periods for technical and usage logs held by Cloudflare and Google follow each provider’s settings and terms.

9. Requests for disclosure and other actions

We respond to requests for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and similar actions in accordance with applicable law.
